Aloo Masala Dry


Here is a dish with Potato. Hope you try it.


What We Need.


  • Potato - 3 (Big)
  • Curry Leaves - 1/4 Cup or 12 Nos
  • Big Onions - 1 Cup - Chopped
  • Tomatos - 1/2 Cup -Puree
  • Green Chillies - 3 or 4 Chopped
  • Coriander Leaves - 1/2 Cup
  • Garlic - 6 or 7
  • Coriander Seeds - 1 Table Spoon
  • Cumin (Jeera) seeds - 1 Tea Spoon
  • Fennel seeds - 1 Tea Spoon
  • Oil - 6 Table Spoons
  • Salt - To Taste

Method
  1. Roast coriander seeds, Cumin seeds and Fennel seeds together without oil and powder it.
  2. Grind coriander leaves and garlic together with little water.
  3. Boil potatoes, peel its skin and cut it into small pieces.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, add curry leaves, chopped onions, green chillies and saute it.
  5. Add tomato paste or puree and saute it.
  6. Add coriander-garlic paste and saute it again.
  7. Add the boiled potatoes and mix well.
  8. To this add masala powder (prepared in step 1) and salt and mix well. If necessary sprinkle little water and mix well. Cover the pan with its lid and cook it in low flame for 2 to 3 minutes.

Now the Aloo Masala Dry is ready. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it to 3 to 4 people. This dish is good with chapati, paratha and rice.
