- Sambar Onions - 20 to 25 Nos
- Garlic - 10 numbers
- Red Chillies - 5 to 7 Nos
- Tomatoes - 2 numbers
- Tamrind - A Little
- Salt - To Taste
- Oil - 4 Table Spoon
- Urad Dhal - 1/4 Tea Spoon
- Curry Leaves - 10 Nos
Method
- Peel the onions' and garlics' skin and keep it as a whole (do not cut).
- Cut tomatoes into pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan (3 table spoons) first saute red chillies and keep it aside.
- In that same oil saute sambar onions.
- While onions are a little sauted to that add garlic and saute it well.
- Then add tomatoes, tamarind pieces and salt and saute well.
- Allow it to cool.
- Blend it in a mixer with red chillies without adding water.
- Check salt while blending.
- Then heat oil (1 table spoon) in another pan and add urad dhal and curry leaves. Turn off the stove.
- To that add blended chutney and mix well.
- Andhra Kara Chutney is ready.
Note: Serve for 3 people.
Most of the people like the chutney's in Andhra Recipes, nice dish and looks very preferable.
